Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Istanbul Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel in the historic centre. Rest after your flight or take an evening stroll through nearby streets and cafés.
Day 2 – Istanbul Old City Highlights After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Istanbul’s Old City, seeing the Hippodrome area, Blue Mosque exterior, and the bustling Grand Bazaar area, with time to explore.
Day 3 – Bosphorus Cruise & Free Afternoon Visit the colourful Spice Bazaar, then take a scenic cruise along the Bosphorus to see palaces and waterfront neighbourhoods from the water. Afternoon at leisure for shopping or an optional Turkish dinner experience.
Day 5 – Athens City & Acropolis Tour Guided city tour taking in key Athens sights and a visit to the Acropolis hill to view the Parthenon and surrounding temples. Afternoon free for museums, cafés or shopping.
Day 6 – Free Day in Athens (Optional Delphi or Islands) Enjoy a full free day in Athens. Choose to relax in the city or join an optional full-day excursion to Delphi or a nearby Saronic Gulf island cruise (seasonal). Farewell dinner in a local taverna.
Day 7 – Departure Transfer to Athens Airport for your flight back to Toronto (via Istanbul), bringing your Istanbul & Athens essentials journey to a close.
Day 4 – Fly to Athens & Evening in Plaka Transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens. On arrival, transfer to your city-centre hotel. In the evening, head into Plaka’s lanes for dinner and your first views of the Acropolis lit up at night.
